YES Unlimited Change Makers are local young leaders driving positive change in our local community.
Recently this group of remarkable young adults had the opportunity to travel to Melbourne and attend the Halogen National Young Leaders Day Conference held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. This experience allowed them to engage and interact with other likeminded young people, their role models and to hear stories from some of Australia’s most well-known individuals from their own leadership experiences.

From what they had learnt from this conference and throughout this program the Change Makers used their skills to develop, plan, promote, implement and evaluate their very own successful School Holiday Program for young people, who utilise The Hive Youth Resource Centre.
The program “A Starry Night” was wonderfully received with positive feedback expressing the program was well organised, delivered and that the Change Makers were approachable and supportive to the young attendees. The program was jam packed with a Gold Class Movie experience, gaming at Intencity Arcade and ended with the ever-popular Aurora Light Exhibition in the Botanical Gardens. The Change Makers themselves discovered they had gained confidence and found a new passion to run more events in the future.
