Donors, Named Sub-Fund, Stories

Border Trust is proud of our very special partnership with the Hume Bank City2City Run Walk.

The City2City Committee was founded in 2014 by local enthusiasts Michelle Hudson and Jen Hayes who had the vision of making the City2City the flagship fundraising & celebration event for Albury Wodonga Health.

Following the overwhelming community response to the inaugural event in 2015 – and the likelihood of the event continuing to grow in size and scale – the City2City Committee approached Border Trust to seek assistance with the governance arrangements for the event.

Recognising that this annual event fits exactly with Border Trust’s aims and purpose by promoting community health and wellbeing while raising funds to improve and expand health services for the people of the Albury Wodonga and surrounding region, Border Trust was happy to support the City2City Committee who now operate as a Named Sub-Fund within the Community Foundation for the Albury Wodonga Region Ltd (Border Trust).

The City2City Run Walk remains entirely a volunteer based committee and is one hundred per cent local.

Each year, proceeds of the event are invested into our local health services to ensure the Albury Wodonga region continues to invest in its world-class health service.

A great cause and a great event, Border Trust is very proud to be associated with the Hume Bank City2City RunWalk.
