The Albury Wodonga Cultural Exchange Program, facilitated by the AW Volunteer Resource Bureau, provides services and specific programs to support newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants to Australia.

The Multicultural Gentle Exercise Program is a wonderful opportunity for CALD community members over 50, to come together and participate in gentile exercise. This class focuses on gentle movements that enhance mobility and provide a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. The program reduces social isolation and provides a place for cultural exchange. There is an opportunity for participants come to together after the class, to socialise and practice their English.

AWRVB provides transport to and from the program each week to reduce this barrier, as most don’t drive. Morning tea will be provided after each session and there will be a celebration at the end of each term. The sessions will be conducted weekly over a 12 month period.
