Find a community grant
Our annual community grant round supports a diverse range of projects and initiatives across key impact areas of need within the region.
Generally, small grants of up to $5,000 will be considered. In exceptional circumstances, a grant of up to $10,000 may be considered following a discussion with Border Trust.
Towong Community Bushfire Disaster Relief Fund
The Black Summer bushfires in 2019/2020 were some of the most devastating bushfires our region has ever experienced. Areas within Towong Shire were some of the hardest hit, with hundreds of properties and buildings lost and over 300,000 hectares of land burnt.
We’re proud to be distributing close to $3 million in grant funding to support recovery efforts in Towong Shire.
Collective Giving with Give500
Everyone can play a part in making our community a better place with just one $500 donation. Give500 is a celebration of collective giving that brings donors and recipients together like no other campaign. It’s an easy way to make a big difference.
Hume Bank Safer Communities Grant
When we all come together to make our community a safer place, wonderful things can happen. This is why Border Trust is proud to work with Hume Bank to deliver a new grant program to build a safer community.
The Safer Communities Grant Program will consider applications from community-based, not-for-profit organisations for projects that address the following impact areas:

- Community Equity
