Riverina Trails – Endurance Trail Running Series
Parklands Albury Wodonga’s event – The Murray Trail Run and Half Marathon – known as “The Fishy” was run annually from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, this event has become part of the Riverina Trails – Endurance Trail Running Series.

21km Half Marathon and 12km Trail Run starts from the Kiewa River at Killara (outside Wodonga) and follows the banks of the Kiewa River and Wodonga Creek and finish at the Stockies Bridge on the Murray River in Wodonga.

Participants were invited to walk, jog or run along the banks of the Kiewa River, Wodonga Creek and Murray River and explore Murray River frontage not usually open to the public.
Corporate teams and individuals enjoyed this new event on the running calendar.
2012 INAUGURAL EVENT 25 March 2012
PARKLANDS ALBURY WODONGA donated $3000 raised at their inaugural Murray Half Marathon and Charity Fun Run. This inaugural event, was a fantastic success.
With over 300 participants, and beautiful Autumn weather, the event promises to become an annual fixture on the regions “Running Calendar”.
Starting at the Kiewa River at Killara, 10km’s west of Wodonga CBD the course meandered along the banks of the Kiewa River, Wodonga Creek and the Murray Rivers with the finish line adjacent to Stocky’s Bridge at Wodonga Creek.
Border Trust would like to thank Parklands Albury Wodonga for choosing to support the Border Trust Challenge by donating funds raised at this event, and a special thank you to those individuals and businesses who made a donation to the Challenge.
