The Atura Albury was literally bubbling over with enthusiasm & good cheer as 140 guests joined us to celebrate our 10th anniversary on 4th June 2015.
The event, hosted by Atura was our opportunity to say thank you to our many donors, sponsors, Board members, volunteers and staff for the role they have played, and great work to our recipients, the people of the not-for-profit community organisations who prove every day that a small grant can make a big difference.

We announced that we’ve distributed $575,504 over the last ten years to 71 community organisations who meet the needs of locals in hundreds of different ways, a figure that includes $253,650 through the Back to School Program.
And we launched our 8 Ways to Give, a handy snapshot of 8 great ways of being involved in your local community foundation – 8 ways to give where you live!
OurEvent Program included an inspiring “celebrating 10 years” presentation by Past Co-Chair Judy Brewer-Fischer and a passionate speech from Danny Phegan who urged us all to follow our hearts and do what we can to support the things we believe in.
We also announced two new initiatives to help our community now and into the future. The Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce Good for Business: Good for Community Corporate Challenge sees the Chamber and its members leading the business community by raising funds to support Young Business Leaders.
The Refuge of Hope l Scanlon Foundation Community Investment partnership was announced by Anthea Hancocks, the CEO of the Scanlon Foundation. In real terms, this partnership will provide funding for projects to assist the successful transition of migrants to the Albury Wodonga area.
Our special thanks goes to Johnsons MME, Harris Lieberman Solicitors, Zauner Construction & LJ Colquhoun Dixon whose sponsorship enabled the launch of our new media promotion.
A final thank you to our Foundation Builders & Event Sponsors – we could not do it without you!
